Basin PBS hosts a preview screening of Ken Burns’ six part series The American Revolution on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 from 6 to 8 pm in Rea Hall at the Wagner Noël Performing Arts Center.
The program features highlights from the full series and a discussion moderated by Dr. Derek Catsam from The University of Texas Permian Basin. Admission is free, tickets are required due to limited seating, and complimentary food and refreshments will be provided. Enjoy sips and nibbles, trivia questions, and an engaging conversation. As America approaches its 250th birthday, join fellow history enthusiasts to explore why our founding era still matters today. The American Revolution is a six part, 12 hour documentary series co-directed by Ken Burns, Sarah Botstein, and David Schmidt, premiering nationally in November.
